Sheri Godfrey

Team Lead & Owner Senior Transitions

As the founder of Senior Transitions and the Transition Realty Team, and a licensed Realtor®, Sheri Godfrey’s work is rooted in a simple belief—that every senior deserves to be heard, respected, and supported through life’s transitions.

Raised in a small town in Nova Scotia, Sheri was shaped by values of kindness, community, and showing up for one another. Today, that foundation guides how she supports seniors and their families through one of life’s most meaningful and often complex chapters.

Sheri specializes in guiding the complete downsizing journey—from the first conversation through to move day and beyond. Her role is not only to manage the details, but to bring a sense of calm and reassurance throughout the process.

A natural advocate, Sheri ensures her clients’ voices are heard and respected in every decision. Her work is supported by extensive training, including End of Life Doula, Certified Dementia Care Practitioner, Memory Care Move Specialist, and Home Safety Assessment for Aging in Place. She is also SRES® designated, a member of the National Association of Senior & Specialty Move Managers and Eldercare Planners of Canada, and holds a Professional Certificate in Advanced Care Planning through Queen’s Law.

While seniors are her specialty, Sheri also finds great fulfillment in supporting military members and their families. Having grown up in a military household—living in PMQs and moving through different communities—she understands firsthand the importance of finding not just a home, but the right place to land. With her father having served for over 30 years, military roots run deep, shaping her appreciation for service, resilience, and community.

Sheri is also a professional speaker, leading workshops that encourage thoughtful conversations around caregiving, planning, and navigating transitions with intention.

Outside of her work, she enjoys travelling with her husband Tim, spending time with her grandson Jaxon, and giving back to the community she deeply values.

For Sheri, this work is never just about moving homes—it is about honouring lives and walking alongside people with care, compassion, and a steady hand when they need it most.
